The Frutt train departs from the old mountain station in the centre of the village and stops several times on its way to Tannalp. In Tannalp there are not only fine menus in the mountain guesthouse, but also an Alpine cheese dairy.

The information office for the guests on Melchsee-Frutt is located in the old cable car station, in the middle of the village.
