Cross-country skiing
The cross-country ski trails of the ski area are located at 2,000 meters above sea level directly on the Melchsee. On a total of 15 kilometers you can enjoy exercise in the fresh air surrounded by the snow-covered peaks. The varied routes can be covered using either skating or classic style. The circular route leads from the lake to the idyllic Tannalp mountain inn and back. The perfect place for short stopover where the battery can be recharged for the way back.
If you don't want to venture on the big loop straight away, you can use the shorter route right next to the Melchsee. The cross-country ski run without inclines and descents does not pose a great challenge even without extensive cross-country skiing experience - the ideal for first steps with the sport.
All trails are regularly groomed. However, preparation is not guaranteed at all times during heavy snowfall. Our reception team will be happy to inform you about the status of the trails in the ski area.
Please note that a cross-country skiing pass must be purchased in order to use the cross-country skiing trails. This can be purchased at the ticket office Stöcklalp, guest information on Melchsee-Frutt and at Frutt Rental.
In addition to the rental of cross-country equipment at Frutt Rental, the ski school also offers various cross-country courses.
