Arrival in Winter

In winter, the resort can only be reached by cable car. Therefore, your vacation begins before you even arrive - taking the gondola to Frutt Mountain Resort transforms your journey into a memorable winter experience. Leave your luggage with us and enjoy the breathtaking scenery on your way up.

1. Arrive at the valley station of the Stöckalp gondola

a. Arrival by car:

2. Leave your car at the parking

a. Indoor Parking at Stöckalp: A garage parking space costs CHF 12 per day. Parking spaces cannot be reserved in advance and are subject to availability. Floor B is designated for hotel guests.

b. Outdoor Parking at Stöckalp for CHF 5 per day.

3. Leave your luggage with us in the welcome hut

On the left side of the valley station you will find our reception hut where you can leave your luggage and buy your gondola tickets. You can also book your ticket in advance when you make your reservation.  

a. The gondola tickets are not included in your room reservation. The cost is CHF 30.00 per adult and CHF 15.00 for children between 6 and 15 years (including arrival and departure and luggage transport). Children with the age of 5 years and younger travel complimentary.

b. Luggage transport for Magic Pass holders: Please note that luggage transport by gondola is not included in the gondola ticket for Magic Pass holders. The luggage fee of CHF 15 per person can be booked at the welcome hut or at the ticket counter of the valley station.

4. Take the gondola

Timetable Gondola Winter Season:
Monday to Thursday 8:25h – 17:30h
Friday 8:25h – 17:30h & 19:00h – 20:00h / 21:15h
Saturday 8:00h – 17:30h & 19:00h – 20:00h / 21:15h
Sundays and holidays 8:00h – 17:30h

Please consider the following points for the luggage transport:

• Conducted daily until 17:00h by the Sportbahnen Melchsee-Frutt. If you arrive after 17:00h the luggage must be taken independently in the gondola.
• 60-120 min transport time. For items which are needed immediately in the hotel we recommend to transport them independently in the gondola.
• The hotel is not liable for any damage or loss of transported items.
• Luggage can be collected from the valley station until 17:30h on the day of departure.

5. Check-in at Lago Lodge or Mountain Lodge

Option A: Mountain Lodge reception

When you arrive at the mountain station, go through the main exit to the left. Follow the path on the ski slope for about 250 metres. Straight ahead you will see the hotel and the entrance to the reception.

Option B:  Lago Lodge reception

When you arrive at the mountain station, turn right and proceed through the turnstile. You will see a sign „old mountain station“ and „hotel“ - please follow this sign. Take the elevator down and follow the tunnel (underpass) – to reach the „old mountain station“. From the exit of the "Alte Bergstation" (Old Mountain Station), you can already see the large buildings of the Lago Lodge on the right side.
