Frutt Mountain Resort opened its doors for the summer season on June 13, 2025 and invites you
to enjoy a unique combination of tranquility, nature experience and stylish comfort. At an
altitude of 1,920 meters, guests will find a retreat that offers space for both conscious
deceleration and active discovery.
The Digital Detox Package is aimed at all those who long for a real break from everyday digital
life. Cell phones and tablets are safely deposited at check-in, so that the stay is all about
consciously slowing down. You will stay in a junior suite with a view of the lake, deliberately
without a TV, but equipped with an analog alarm clock, books, board games and a yoga mat. A
balancing tea is served daily. An alchemy bar awaits guests in the Mountain Spa, where they can
make their own individual body scrubs and oils. The experience is complemented by a pizza
workshop with the Executive Chef.
For hiking enthusiasts, the resort offers a natural highlight with the 4-lake hike, which connects
the spectacular lakes of Trübsee, Engstlensee, Tannensee and Melchsee. The starting point is the
sister hotel Kempinski Palace Engelberg, where guests can conveniently park their car in the
underground garage. At reception, you will receive your mountain railway ticket for the route to
the Joch Pass - from there, the hike begins, leading directly to the Frutt Mountain Resort. After a
long day of hiking, you can relax in the spa and enjoy a three-course evening meal.
A sneak peek into the fall: From October 17 to 19, the knitting arrangement with experienced
knitting expert Elena Kaiser will take place. In a cozy atmosphere in front of the open fire and
the autumnal mountain landscape, knitting fans can get creative and exchange ideas with like-
minded people.
By the way: it's worth coming back! The Frutt Loyalty Package was created as a sign of
appreciation for returning guests. This allows guests to book overnight stays at a reduced rate as
a subscription and make their stay even more comfortable with free services, upgrades and
extras.

About Frutt Mountain Resort: Frutt Mountain Resort, which consists of two modern hotel buildings and an attractive hideaway connected by an underground tunnel, boasts an authentic ambience and 114 rooms and suites. The interior design inspired by the lodge style stands in exciting contrast to the monolithic-like exterior façade. Modern Alpine living, natural materials made of native woods and stone of the highest quality and attractive bathrooms allow guests to unwind in a cosy atmosphere, not least thanks to the mountain resort’s two spa and wellness areas. Frutt Mountain Resort has a lot on offer gastronomically, too: whether in one of its four restaurants or the hotel bar, the kitchen and service team spoils guests with varied and contemporary food concepts. Frutt Mountain Resort is particularly delighted about the awards it has recently received: in April 2022, it was selected as Switzerland’s best four-star wellness hotel by the NZZ am Sonntag newspaper and ranked third among the 50 best four-star hotels in Switzerland in the overall vote. In addition, Melchsee-Frutt also emerged as the best ski resort in the ‘small and refined’ category in a community vote held by Blick and Switzerland Tourism.
