What are the check-in and check-out times?

• Check-in is available from 15:00 hrs on the day of arrival
• Check-out is required by 11:30 hrs on the day of departure

Early check-in and late check-out are available for an additional charge, which can be selected during the online booking process. In case your room is not ready yet, you may use the hotel facilities on a complimentary basis.

Do you offer ski transfer? 

The resort is a ski-in and ski-out resort, so there is not need for a ski transfer. Ski adventure is waiting for you on our doorstep!

What are the arrival options?

In summer, there are two ways to get to Frutt Mountain Resort: by cable car or by car (no arrival option is included in the room rate).

In winter, the resort can only be reached by cable car. 

We recommend visiting our page where we explain all the details for a smooth arrival in summer and in winter. 

Is the road open all year?

The road is open only in summer season, in winter it is closed and the only way to reach our hotel is by gondola. You can find more information here for winter and here for summer. 

What parking facilities are available at Frutt Mountain Resort ?

In summer, you can reach us by car and park in a parking in Melchsee Frutt. The access to the village by car is 25 CHF for the first 24 hours. Each additional day costs 5 CHF. 

If you decide to reach us by gondola, we have an Indoor Parking at Stöckalp, where you can leave the car and reach the hotel by cable car: A garage parking space costs CHF 12 per day. Parking spaces cannot be reserved in advance and are subject to availability. Floor B is designated for hotel guests.

Outdoor Parking at Stöckalp for CHF 5 per day in winter season. In summer season the Outdoor Parking Stöckalp is free of charge. 

What are the breakfast hours, and what does the breakfast offer include?

The breakfast hours are from 07:00 till 10:30. We serve the best of local and regional products along with international breakfast classics. It is a buffet breakfast with some a la carte options (no surcharge). 

What are the dining options on site?

At Frutt Mountain Resort we offer a variety of dining options to cater to different tastes and occasions. Here are some of the main restaurants and bars you can find there:

Restaurant Titschli: This is our main restaurant, specializing in alpine cuisine. It offers a menu that takes you on a journey through the European Alps, combining local and regional products.

Stübli Special Cuts: This is a steakhouse for meat lovers, featuring classic steak cuts like beef tenderloin as well as lesser-known cuts. It focuses on refined preparation to highlight the flavors of the meat. 

Restaurant Lago: Located in the Lago Lodge, this restaurant serves Italian cuisine, including fresh pasta and wood-fired pizzas, with panoramic views of Lake Melchsee.

Glockenbar: A stylish bar and lounge with a spacious terrace, perfect for après-ski or a refreshing drink in the summer. 

Kaminbar: Located in the Lago Lodge, this bar and lounge also has a terrace and is a great spot for après-ski or a cold drink. It has a cozy atmosphere with a large fireplace during the colder months and serves classic bar snacks and hot dishes.

What vegan and vegetarian dining options does Frutt Mountain Resort offer?

We have thoughtfully crafted a variety of exquisite vegetarian and vegan dishes across all of our dining experiences in Titschli, Lago and in-room dining. 

Should you have something specific in mind, please let our team know and we would be delighted to create a custom dish just for you. Our dedicated culinary team is always on hand to provide recommendations and ensure your dining experience is nothing short of exceptional.

Are pets welcome and are there special services for them?

Yes, dogs are very welcome in some areas of our hotel. The additional cost for a dog is 35 CHF per day and it includes a dog bed, bowls with treats and access to a dog shower. 

What room categories do you suggest for a family? 

Depending on your family size, we have different options. Rooms with the highest occupancy are Family Lake View Suite and Family Suite, both accommodating up to 6 people. For families of 4 or less, we recommend Maisonette Junior Suite, Family Junior Suite, Superior Lake View Room or Superior Room. 

What are the cancellation policies at Frutt Mountain Resort?

Do the rooms offer Wi-Fi and other modern amenities?

All rooms at Frutt Mountain Resort are equipped with complimentary Wi-Fi. Other amenities vary depending on the room category and availability.

Are there smoking areas at  Frutt Mountain Resort?

All our rooms are non-smoking rooms, however it is consent to smoke in our cigar lounge. 

Smoking is permitted on our terrace under the condition of being mindful of other guests.

What can you do in and around Frutt?

Melchsee-Frutt offers a wide array of activities year-round, from hiking and biking around its scenic mountain lakes in the summer to skiing and snowshoeing on its slopes in the winter.

Do you offer connecting rooms? 

Yes, we offer some connecting rooms. In our Mountain Lodge we offer them in the category "Lake View Double Room". As we only have a limited amount of these connecting rooms, they are subject to availability. 

Are there facilities for children? 

The Frutt Mountain Resort offers carefree family holidays. In addition to family-friendly prices, we pay special attention to children. Our special children's offer with professional supervision ensures that children and their parents enjoy every minute at Frutt Mountain Resort. Opening hours of the kids-club are subject to occupancy

On site we also offer a bowling room and a cinema.

What languages does staff speak?

Our staff speaks German, English, French, Portuguese, Spanish and Italian.

Is there an ATM in the hotel? 

No, there is no ATM on site. The closest ATM is in Kerns. In our property you can settle your bill with the Card of your choice.
